Nepal Pencak Silat Association under the Presidentship of Mr. Tika Ram Motey Basai has been registered with Chief District Office Kathmandu and It is further registered with National Sports Council and Nepal Olympic Committee. It is also affiliated with Nepal Karate Federation and Nepal Rainbo Kai Karate Association. Further This Association is affiliated with Singapore Silat Federation and Grasio Silat Association Singapore and it is also recognized and affiliated with International Pencak Silat Federation Indonesia.
Mr. Tika Ram Motey Basai (Jeewan) founder president of Nepal Pencak Silat Association has been inspired by Singapore Silat Federation Director and Grasio Silat Association Grand Master Mr. Sheik Alau'ddin B. Yacoob Marican ,PBM to workout details to spread the message of this martial art through out Nepal further he encouraged Mr. Motey to organize and open new offices in SAARC countries to spread Pencak Silat form of Martial Art in these areas.. European Pencak Silat Federation did also push and inspire Mr. Motey to devote his time, energy and expertise to promote Pencak Silat in other parts of the world beside SAARC countries. Had not been Mr. Sheik Alau'ddin B. Yacoob Marican from Singapore Silat Federation and European Pencak Silat Federation and International Pencak Silat Federation, Mr TikaRam Motey Basai would not have succeeded and would have not made it possible to spread this form of martial art in Nepal and in other parts of the world.
