Pencak silat In Nepal
Pencak Silat is introduced and promoted by MR. Tika Ram Motey Basai( Jeewan ) in Nepal . Nepal Pencak Silat Association was established in 2002 A.D under the Chairmanship of Mr Tika Ram Motey Basai, who himself is a known National Karate Player for more than a decade and He is also a National senior Martial art coach.
Mr Tika Ram Motey Basai has represented Nepal in "the French Pencak Silat World Open Championship 2004", where Nepalese participants won two medals in the competition for the nation.
Mr. Motey led delegation to attend two months special Pencak Silat training in Singapore. Mr Motey 's dedication and devotion towards this sport could fetch recognition for Pencak Silat to flourish in this country with his endeavor this association expanded its activities organizing training program and opening new classes for Pencak Silat and event sent players to participate in internationals Championship Competition abroad.
